INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF RHODE ISLAND
A branding guide made for a non-profit organization - International House of Rhode Island
Through the RISD Leadership and Community Engagement (LACE) program, I got the chance to work with the International House of Rhode Island (IHRI). I started by meeting the team and the regulars that came there to take language classes and find a like-minded community. They wanted my help with organizing their paperwork and redoing their branding to achieve consistency.
I started by collecting and documenting all existing paperwork and promotional material they used to see what they were currently working with. I observed and talked to them to see what they would like to change and things they were having issues with.
Based on that I made my first redesigns and branding guide samples. I gave them different options to see what they responded to and modified the designs based on feedback. After many rounds of back and forth, this as the final Branding Guide that we came up with. It includes logo guides, a color guide, a font guide and sample pamphlets for them to use as reference or as a template.
Additionally, I made forms and sign up sheets reorganizing them to collect the information they needed and used and trying to make it more concise and easy to read.
